How to find and share your Google review link

Your Google review link opens the review form for your business directly. Here's how to get it, check it, and share it on WhatsApp, bills and QR codes.

The short answer

Search your business name on Google while signed in to the account that manages it, open your Business Profile, choose "Ask for reviews" (or "Get more reviews"), and copy the link. It usually looks like g.page/r/…/review. Test it on a phone: it should open the star-rating box, not just your listing.

Which links open the review form

Links from "Ask for reviews" (g.page/r/…/review) and links like search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=… open the review composer directly. A normal Google Maps link usually only opens your listing, and customers then have to find "Write a review" themselves.

Share it the right way

  • WhatsApp: send it after the visit with a short, neutral message
  • QR code: print it on counters, tables and bills
  • Email signature and invoices
  • Your website's contact or reviews page

Let Review Mint check it for you

When you paste your link into Review Mint, it checks the format, tells you whether it opens the review form, and lets you test it.

Frequently asked questions

You probably copied a Maps share link. Use the link from Ask for reviews in Google Business Profile instead.

Yes, but test the short link on a phone. Review Mint's QR codes give you a permanent short link that always points to your review page.

Yes. Google allows businesses to ask customers for reviews. It does not allow paying or rewarding people for reviews, asking only happy customers (review gating), fake reviews, or asking for reviews that mention particular staff. Review Mint shows every customer the same page, offers nothing in return and never posts for anyone.
